Phaser 8500 Ink Is Essential In Becoming Eco-friendly In Business

by Ben Pate

The Xerox Phaser 8500 and 8550 are excellent printers for business networks. Both of these printers handle high volumes of information quickly, produce color and black and white copies rapidly, and connect easily to most computer networks. But the most important part of a printer is its ink, and the Phaser 8500 ink is uniquely well-designed for consistency and high print quality.

First and foremost it is important to know the options in phaser printers. 8500/8550 printers come in four versions which differ in quality and price. All of them (except the 8500/N) support double side document printing. Higher end models such as 8550/DX have high resolution capability, can hold large stacks of paper and can print at higher speeds. Normally lower end printers can print around 24 pages per minute, where as the higher end models can print 30 pages.

The Phaser 8650 is another similar printer which is perfect for home or small office use. The options available in this printer is few unlike 8500 or 8550 but it uses the same Phaser ink technology as that of Xerox's more advanced options. It is also less expensive than 8500 series of printers.

As mentioned earlier, Phaser 8500 ink is what really differentiates these printers. Xerox is the only company that have invented solid ink and provides this ink for their printers, which helps them to print in a single pass. The single pass technology is useful in correcting the alignment of the four ink colors that is normally seen in traditional printers. It will also reduce the printing time, because traditional printers require many passes, each ink color requiring one pass.

Layering within an ink cartridge can lead to inconsistent and unprofessional-looking documents. Solid inks, like the Xerox 8560 cartridge, avoid this problem. They also can produce brighter colors due to greater saturation, and present fewer problems when the cartridge must be disposed of.

Phaser 8500 and Phaser 8560 inks are more expensive than other printer inks. However, brokers and other discounters can save their customers up to $150 from list price for a full cartridge set, allowing offices and individuals needing to print documents to do so at reasonable cost. These discounters are avialable online and in brick-and-mortar shops.

Xerox 8550 toner has been carefully designed to be the best ink on the market and to provide the highest document quality possible. This superior ink makes the 8500, 8550, and 8560 Phaser printers excellent choices for homes, small business, and larger offices. These printers are also highly efficient with all the options that you are likely to require, and thus are a good choice for any home or office.

The Xerox Phaser printers 8500 and 8550 come in four versions each. Except 8500/N, they can print two-sided documents. Higher end models give higher resolution and print faster. Another printer, Phaser 8560 is intended for home and small office use. All use solid ink that prints on a single pass and resists color separation and layering within the cartridge, thus creating more consistent color throughout the life of Xerox 8550 Toner cartridge. Phaser 8500 Ink and Phaser 8560 Ink are used in them for consistency and high print quality. The inks are available online and at discount stores at prices lower by as much as 150 dollars a set.
